Nonprofit, est. 2006 · Founder & CEO Sydney "Syd" Knott · 4975 N Miller Ln (entrance off La Madre), NW Las Vegas
Researched Oct 5, 2026 · public data plus Corey's call notes · nobody at the ranch was contacted
The stories are already there: 20 years, hundreds of camp kids, veterans and first responders, a new micro school, a Friday night for people who are lonely. Their reels already reach 16,000+ people with no ad spend. What's missing is a system that turns that attention into gala sponsors, monthly donors and families who can find the gate. The gala is 7 weeks out and has one Instagram post.
Scorecard
Out of 10, compared with well-run equine and veteran nonprofits.
Website
4/10
Lots of content and working Zeffy checkout. No address on the homepage, 9 dead links, stale pages, 22/100 phone speed test.
Google
5/10
4.3★ (144). #1 for kids horse camp. No hours on the profile, invisible for field trips, absent from the veteran map pack.
Social

7K on Instagram, posting almost daily. 88% of posts are flyers that get ~20 likes. The reels outperform them, and there are few of them.
Fundraising reach
3/10
No Meta ads, no Google ads, no Ad Grants. No email signup. Gala sponsor tiers list a price but no benefits.
Already working: 6,994 Instagram followers, more than BraveHearts, Pegasus or Saratoga WarHorse · reels reaching 16.5K, 4.9K and 3.0K · #1 on Google for "kids horse camp las vegas" (map and web) and named first in Google's AI answer for veteran equine therapy · Zeffy donate form with monthly/quarterly/yearly giving and $25–$250 presets, no platform fee · a real monthly-donor offer ($20/mo gets merch; a $250/mo horse sponsor gets a monthly private visit) · Friday Roundup sponsor page with clear tiers · GA4 installed · 501(c)(3) since 2007, so Ad Grants eligible.
Top 5 problems
Each with the evidence. Framed for a kind conversation: most of this is half-built already.
1The 20th Anniversary Gala is 7 weeks out and barely visible
1 gala post in 50 days0 sponsor benefits listedNo table optionNov 21 · Canyon Gate
Instagram: 49 posts from Aug 16 to Oct 4. Only one mentions the gala (Aug 17, asking restaurants to take part, 10 likes). No ticket, sponsor or honoree post.
Website gala page (/h4h-celebrates-20-years) is still a "Save the Date" banner and a 3-stop timeline. Apart from the date on the banner image, the page itself has no time, honorees, ticket prices, sponsor levels or story. Every button leaves the site.
Ticketing (Zeffy) has the good copy ("No One Rides Alone") and the honorees, Debra March and Steve Stallworth. But each of the 7 sponsor tiers shows only a name and a price, with no benefits. 2 are marked SOLD. There's no table or company-table option, only individual tickets.
No gala video, no sponsor spotlights, no countdown content. The "20 Years in Photos" gallery on Pixieset is the only anniversary storytelling.
Gala page on a phone. Details live elsewhere.Zeffy sponsor tiers: name, price, Add. Nothing about what a sponsor gets.
2Finding the ranch is harder than it should be
No address on homepageNo address on InstagramHours: 5 versionsAddress correct on Google
Luis was right. The street address appears only on Contact Us and Visitor Information. It's not on the homepage, not in the footer, and not in the site's Google data. The Instagram bio says "📍Northwest Las Vegas".
The phone number is the last line of a 23-screen homepage. The contact email is a Gmail address.
The real entrance is off La Madre, not Miller, which matters to the neighbors. That instruction only lives on the Visitor Info page.
Hours disagree everywhere: site data says 7 days 9–5, Contact says Tue–Sat by appointment, FAQ says Mon–Sat, Instagram says Fri/Sat 9–noon, and Google shows no hours at all ("Add hours").
LinkedIn has an unclaimed auto-generated page with an old address (4837 N Monte Cristo Way). Every page title and the copyright line misspell the name as "Horse4Heroes".
First screen on a phone (390 px). Gala banner, then a cookie bar. No address, phone or directions.
3They post a lot, mostly in the format that performs worst
Reels of ordinary ranch moments carry the account: "a beautiful morning at The Ranch" 16.5K plays, "a typical day" 4.9K, the Wellness reel 3.0K.
Flyers and text graphics have a median of 20 likes. The app announcements got 3–4. Asks are flyers too: the older-horse donation post got 8 likes and "Give $20, help care for our herd" got 16. Corey's numbers say the same thing: a 5-minute reel reached 13.3K views, and the older-horse appeal reached 339.
"Veteran" appears in 2 of 49 captions, "first responder" in none, though the mission, the name and the free memberships are built around them.
Micro School, field trips and Friday Roundup each got 1–2 posts. Strong collab reels come from partners (Creation 4 Cause, local moms), not from a plan.
@horses4heroeslv: 6,994 followers, a grid of flyers, no address.
4The website is heavy, out of date, and leaks people
Phone test 22/10012.8 MB homepage9 dead linksReal-visitor data: OKSEO 92
Google's lab test scores the homepage 22/100 on phones (36 on desktop): 12.8 MB, 8 YouTube players and 3 reCAPTCHA loads. Chrome's real-visitor data is better (main content shows in about 1.7 s), but desktop layout shift is rated poor.
Dead links: 8 Bitly links are disabled (410), including "Purchase Annual Pass" on Family Farm Days and 4 on Events. The homepage "NV Day Farm Camp, Purchase Ticket" button is broken (two URLs pasted together). The Spring Break form is locked, and In the News is an empty page.
Stale pages: Events still shows "January activities" and "2024 passes". Volunteer says applications reopen "the first week of July". About says "over the past 17 years". The latest Year-End Report is from 2023. The Camps page has an "Add Your Heading Text Here" placeholder.
Missing pages: nothing for Ranch Micro School, Friday Roundup, or a Veterans & First Responders program. Everything is a Bitly link out to Zeffy or Google Forms. No email signup anywhere.
The Google snippet for a "horses4heroes" search reads "Our programs are available to … Members only", which turns away new families and donors.
GA4 only. No Meta pixel, and gifts happen on Zeffy, so the site can't tell which post or page produced a donation.
The full phone homepage (23 screens) in 6 columns. The black boxes are 7 news videos that haven't loaded yet. The address never appears.
5No paid reach, and Google and Facebook are split up
0 Meta ads0 Google adsNo Ad Grants4.3★ · 18 one-star
No active Meta ads from the ranch's page, and no Google ads for horses4heroes.org in Google's Ads Transparency Center. As a 501(c)(3), they qualify for Google Ad Grants: up to $10K a month in free search ads, and there's no sign it's set up.
Google profile: 4.3★ from 144 reviews, 18 of them one-star, mostly about the welcome at the front gate. Most recent reviews have no reply, and the last owner update was Apr 18 (summer camp). The listing name carries "(Appointment Only)" and the main category is "Ranch", not nonprofit or camp.
It doesn't show up for "farm field trips las vegas", even with 23 field trips booked. McKee Ranch (427 reviews) and The Las Vegas Farm hold that search.
Facebook is split across at least 4 pages: the website links to "The Ranch Las Vegas" (3.5K), while "Horses4Heroes USA" (7.2K) and "Horses4Heroes Family Equestrian Center" (5.5K) are bigger.
YouTube: 126 subscribers, mostly 2023 camp clips with titles like "KLAS 08 26 2025 15 00 00 000". TikTok @horses4heroeslv has 97 followers.
Google Maps: the address is correct here, but there are no hours and the category is "Ranch".

What G Media would run, in order. The gala comes first because it has a date.
1Gala push: 7 weeks to Nov 21
Sponsor story video (2–3 min) with Syd, a veteran family, a camp kid and one of the horses, plus 30- and 60-second cuts. It goes on the gala page, in every sponsor email and on screen that night.
Honoree spotlights for Debra March and Steve Stallworth, posted as collabs so their networks see them. Weekly countdown reels. A spotlight for each sponsor who signs.
A sponsor packet showing what each tier gets, plus a company table option.
Direct sends instead of posts: a personal video note from Syd to the top 30–50 donors and local businesses, and a two-line forward the board can send to their own contacts.
Gala night coverage that becomes a recap film, next year's sponsor reel, and the opening of the capital campaign.
2Capital campaign film
Film the ranch, the 20-year arc and the next 20 at the same time as the gala shoot. It becomes the case-for-support video for major donor meetings, the website and the campaign launch.
3A monthly content day built on reels
Five pillars: Veterans & first responders (Back in the Saddle, Friday Roundup), Kids (camps, field trips, Micro School), The horses' stories (Maverick, Nemo, Rosie, filmed instead of flyered), Community (Family Farm Days, Roundup), and 20 years.
Every ask becomes a story first: the person who cares for the older horse, then the $20 ask at the end. Flyers move to Stories.
One main Facebook page, a cleaned-up YouTube (titled Shorts), TikTok cross-posting, and planned collabs with partners and honorees.
4Google: Ad Grants plus profile cleanup
Set up Google Ad Grants through Google for Nonprofits. Search ads for camps, field trips (aimed at school groups), volunteering, veteran programs and monthly giving, with conversion tracking wired in.
Fix the Google profile: one set of hours, nonprofit and summer-camp categories, weekly photo and video posts, a reply to every review, and a review QR code at Family Farm Days and the Roundup.
5Website fixes, handed to Success City Online as a list
Address, map, "enter off La Madre" and tap-to-call in the header and footer, with one hours statement everywhere. Fix "Horse4Heroes" in titles and change the "Members only" description.
Real pages for the Gala, Micro School, Friday Roundup and Veterans & First Responders. Fix the 9 dead links and the stale pages, add Nonprofit and Event schema, and lighten the homepage embeds.
Email signup on every page, a Meta pixel, and Zeffy conversions tracked back to the source.
6A named monthly-giving program, plus email and SMS
The offer already exists ($20/mo merch, $250/mo horse sponsorship with a monthly visit). Give it a name and a page, a short film, and a monthly "your horse this month" video update.
Zeffy already holds the emails of every ticket buyer (Family Farm Days, camps, Roundup, field trips). Use them for a welcome series, gala invites and the monthly-giving ask. Add SMS for event weeks.
Peers
One local, three national. Meta and Google ads checked Oct 5: none of the peers run them either, so the first to show up has the field to itself.

How to pitch it
Angle: Horses4Heroes was started after 9/11 to thank service members and their families. G Media is veteran-owned. Syd is a 40-year PR pro, so she knows the story. We bring the camera, the edit and the distribution, and we work alongside Success City Online, not instead of them.
Lead with the gala. Seven weeks, two honorees, sponsor tiers that are still open. Offer the gala package first: sponsor story video, honoree spotlights, countdown, direct sends, night-of coverage.
Show her own numbers. The "beautiful morning" reel at 16.5K and the older-horse flyer at 8 likes. Her 5-minute reel at 13.3K and the appeal at 339. The audience is there; the asks need to be stories.
Hand over the easy fixes for free, as goodwill: address on the homepage and Instagram, one set of hours, the dead links, "Horse4Heroes" in the titles.
Then the engine for 2027: a monthly content day, Ad Grants, the named monthly-giving program, and the capital campaign film.
Ask to come out on a Friday Roundup night to meet Syd, film a sample reel and talk through the gala plan.
Pricing is left off on purpose. Use the gmediaco.com packages when the conversation gets there.
